Laura is a 28" doll in a standing position and is completely handmade. She was crafted from molds created by the original artist, D. RuBert. Laura' s head and shoulder plate, arms and legs are made from fine porcelain and her body is made of cloth. She is hand painted and her clothes are designed for her alone. Laura has long brown braids and brown eyes. Her dress is made out of a light purple floral printed cotton. She is dressed in the style of our early settlers in the west. She has a bonnet that matches her dress and a white apron. Her bonnet and braids are tied with fusia colored ribbons. Laura is wearing high top brown shoes and white stockings. She is unique because she is one of a kind.
